So, Joshua pretty routinely goes around the house reciting the lyrics to "Wait a minute, we're fish". It is very difficult to get these impromptu performances on camera, so I had to prompt him a bit. I have never actually heard the song, other than Joshua's version.

Joshie's New Playhouse/Swing Set
We finally finished putting together Joshua's playhouse/swing set. I almost waited to put on the glider thinking he would never use it. It turns out that he loves it.

Bye, Bye Trees
We had a crazy thunderstorm blow through last night. 70-ish mph winds. We used to have 8 30-40 foot pine trees in our backyard. Two were uprooted, three were snapped at their trunks, and two were snapped about half way up. Only one is unscathed.
When I took Joshua out to show him the damage this morning, he said "Bye, bye, trees."

"I see snow."
So, up until recently, almost all of Joshua's sentences started with "I want...", which is great for reducing his getting mad when he wants or needs something. But it is kind of limiting. So, one of his therapists has been working on "I see..." as a next step. We woke up this morning to snow on the ground....

"Daddy"
So, you kind of have to want to hear it, but Joshua is saying "daddy". OK, maybe it is "da-eee" or "ah-dee" or "ah-eee", but he is definitely trying and he is using two different syllables, which is new. So precious.
